Cold Ashby Golf Club Charity Golf Day

Sadly no-one did manage a hole in one but the day went well.
The day was shotgun start and the nearest the pin for the designated 9th hole was struck very early in proceedings. 10 feet from the flag.
We did have a very good score recorded by a young lad playing off an 8 handicap, he shot a gross 68 and scored 48 stableford points.

Our charity which helps youngsters from often difficult backgrounds by introducing them to rugby to instill a focus and discipline in their lives. We have a close relationship with the Northampton Saints who brought both the Premiership and Amlin trophies along for the day. Our charity auction went well with 2 signed shirts fetching a good amount. We were pleased with our first effort and hope to repeat the event in the future.

Thanks for your help, the prizes offered were impressive and the comments we received endorsed that.
