Corporate Golf Day Celebrates with a Prize Putt WIN of £5,000!!!

Kilworth Spring Golf Club in Leicestershire hosted the annual golf day for a Leeds based company Altodigital; who for the third year in a row added headline prizes to their fantastic event organised by Spirit Events.

As well as offeing a £15,000 main prize as part of their hole in one package, they wanted to give players that something extra to play for. They decided to go for our infamous ‘Putt to Win Challenge’ as a climax to their day!

A Qualifing competition was held first thing in the day during warm up, which invited players to putt through various cut out’s in a board to score as high as possible with 3 shots from 10 feet.

A £5,000 prize for a 60foot putt was the reward, the shot to be played after the day’s golfing on the putting green over a welcome team beverage back at the club house. It was Rob Ward who won the chance to take the shot later in the day & here’s how he did it …….. watch the video on our You Tube channel.

Not only did Rob sink the putt to win himself a tidy £5,000 he was also part of the winning team which won him a brand new driver to add to his collection, thanks to Altodigital.

A lucky day by all accounts, which will give Rob & his partner a fantastic holiday & something for a rainy day. He tells us there are an increasing number of holiday brochures accumulating on their coffee table so I think the holiday will be booked very soon!
